Structural Engineering
FABB has extensive experience in the design, management and supervision of structural engineering works in built environment super-and sub-structures, facades and different infrastructures. These projects refer to institutional, commercial, residential, industrial, sports and leisure, educational and health-care buildings, as well as civil structures, mining and energy infrastructures.
Adopting a holistic approach, FABB engineers develop efficient structural designs to meet the client’s occupational needs, whilst maintaining a balance between the construction costs, aesthetics and sustainability. From inception, the work progresses into the concept and feasibility planning stage, through the detailed design and construction phase, ending off with a final project handover to the client. Drawing from our extensive knowledge of construction material properties and equipped with the latest tools, such as computer-aided design (CAD), structural analysis software and building information modelling (BIM) techniques, our designers are able perform the most complex designs in accordance with multi-national design codes and industry specific best practices.
Besides the development of new structures, FABB has a proven track record to analyses existing structures for engineering forensic reports, the upgrading, alteration and/or retrofitting of existing structures.
