FABB+Partners is an independent consulting engineering practice specialised in facade engineering and building structures. We help architects and developers realise ambitious and complex building envelopes, combining technical rigour with creative problem-solving in the built environment across Africa and beyond.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Johannesburg, we bring together independently practising professionals with a shared commitment to contextual, high-performance design.

Berhanu Bogale

Our façade engineering practice is led by Berhanu Bogale (PrEng, PMP, MSAICE) — a former Senior Façade Engineer at Arup and Technical Director and Facade Consultant to Zutari, with over 25 years of experience across South Africa, the UAE, Australia, the UK, East Africa, West Africa, and the Middle East. We bring world class technical rigour to every project, with the agility of a specialist independent practice.

Head of Structures. Specialist in steel and concrete building design and structural analysis.

Our team brings together specialist knowledge across facade engineering, building physics and structural engineering. We work collaboratively with architects, clients and contractors from concept design through to construction, ensuring that every facade is safe, buildable and performs exactly as designed. From unitised curtain walls and structural glazing to complex steel and concrete frames, we deliver engineering excellence on projects of every scale.
